We provide a number of different services for students, staff, and parents. Below is a list and detailed description of each of the services we offer.
Food Service
Breakfast and lunch are available in both district schools each
full school day. Reduced priced meals cost each eligible student
$.25 for breakfast and $.25 for lunch. The District participates
in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program and receives
financial assistance for meals that meet specific requirements.
For a meal to qualify for financial assistance, each student is
required to take at least three components and a maximum of five
for breakfast and lunch. Choices in the food groups are offered
daily. Students may also bring lunches from home.
Ala carte items are also available for purchase: milk,
fresh fruit, ice cream, cookies, and juice. Ala carte items
receive no subsidy from the government and must be self
supporting.
Menus are distributed to the schools each month and are
available for students to bring home. Free and reduced price
meals are available to students whose family income meets the
established criteria set by the Federal Government. Applications
for free lunches and breakfasts are available at any time during
the school year at each school cafeteria, the web
site or at the Food Service Office in the
Campbell Building. Completed applications should be returned to
the child's school cafeteria register or the Food Service Office
at the Campbell Building. Applications are confidential and
reviewed by the Food Service Department. After review, students
are placed in the appropriate category.

Transportation
The district provides free transportation to any student who lives .5 miles or more away from the Elementary (Savona) building, or .7 miles or more away from the Jr./Sr. High (Campbell) building. These mileage limits also apply to spur routes. We want all of our bussed students to have a safe and enjoyable ride, so we ask that cooperation between authorities, drivers, parents, guardians, and students be applied 100% of the time that a student is being bussed. Because of this, regulations have been set up to provide as safe a transportation operation as possible. Safety is more important than convenience. We ask that parents and guardians discuss safety procedures and consequences with their children.
