CSCS Alumni/Community Spotlight for June!
Kristi McGarvey (Bacon), a proud member of the Class of 1993—the very first CS graduating class—has built an inspiring legacy in the Campbell/Savona community. As the owner of Hair to Dye on Route 415, she has turned her passion for hair design into a thriving business and a true community cornerstone. Starting her journey through BOCES and working diligently in her craft, Kristi demonstrated remarkable determination, ultimately constructing her own building that not only houses her salon but also supports other local businesses and provides jobs within the community.
Beyond her professional success, Kristi’s impact reaches even further. She has generously shared her knowledge and experience by mentoring CS graduates, helping to guide the next generation toward their own successes. Her dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to uplifting others make her story a truly celebratory example of hard work, generosity, and community pride.
We continue to collect celebrations of our alumni, community members, faculty, and staff. Click here to submit a name! https://tinyurl.com/CSCSspotlight
