Our 5th grade teachers created a "museum" for students to go through to learn background knowledge about Vietnam before their students start reading Inside Out and Back Again. An amazing way to prepare students for such a powerful story!

Boys on the Right Track registration is now OPEN! This program teaches boys important life skills such as problem solving, relationship building, and goal setting while training for a celebratory 5K! Check out Mrs. Jackson's 5th grade ELA class working collaboratively on inferencing from a complex text and then a classroom "Go Team!" circle after they shared their learning! In addition, they made personal connections to the positive character traits of influential African American historical figures such as Jackie Robinson!
