This month's Community Spotlight recognition goes to Delinda Newman, a community member, parent, and businesswoman. She runs a thrift store at the old blue store to support the community. She offers essentials at ultra-low prices, donates freely, finds requested items, and even gives away Christmas trees to those in need.

We continue to collect celebrations of our alumni, community members, faculty, and staff. Click here to submit a name! https://tinyurl.com/CSCSspotlight #GOPANTHERS!

CSE Parent Request Flier
To all CSCSD residents and families. The district was made aware that several of our families, in addition to receiving our school newsletter, also received an additional newsletter from the Spencer Van-Etten school district. The school contracts our newsletter mailings with GST BOCES and there was an error in the mailing list. The error has been corrected and should not occur again. We thank you for your understanding! On a side note, it's nice to see what our neighbors are celebrating too!

Check out this awesome science fact that our Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Clancy, used to get teenagers up at 6:02am for breakfast! Mole Day is a holiday in Chemistry like Pi Day for Math. Like the word “dozen” represents 12 items, a mole represents 6.02 x 10^23 items (atoms, molecules, etc.), which is why we celebrate it from 6:02 am – 6:02 pm on October 23rd.

Panther Provisions will be coordinating the BackPack Program for Savona Elementary this year. The BackPack program is an initiative originally through the Food Bank to help provide nutritious, kid-friendly food to families on weekends. This year families with children in the Elementary will have a few opportunities throughout the year to enroll in this initiative. The first BackPack filling opportunity was a huge success. Students and staff from across the district worked together to build more than 160 packs in less than 30 minutes! The Campbell-Savona community is incredible!
