Mrs. Neu's FASC class did an awesome sewing project! They made Emoji pin cushions! Students drafted their own designs and learned how to sew a button, back stitch, overcast stitch, and running stitch!

Our 7th grade Ag in the Classroom program continues to connect our students with local farms and how we get our food! This week they even made their own cheese!

If you go out to the the big stage at glass fest this weekend you can thank two of our CS Seniors who jumped on the production crew to build the stage in the pouring rain! A special thank you to Bruce Perron from Hard Hit productions for offering this work-based experience for our students!

7th graders went on a Physical Education/ Science field trip to Letchworth State Park. They enjoyed hiking a guided tour where they learned about plants and animals on the trails, understanding how to read trail markers, and the history of the park! They then returned to the classroom to continue learning about some of those animals and how they have adapted and evolved over time.

Today we are having a meaningful career day for our 7th grade students! They are seeing presentations from the DEC, WENY meteorology, state police, Bath ambulance and Dr. Peters about jobs in veterinarian science! You never know when one career exposure connects to a future passion for a student!

A reminder that the CSCS Fine Arts Night and Budget Vote is next Tuesday, May 20th! Student performances begin at 5:00pm and the Art Show is all day! District residents ages 18 and older may vote between the hours of noon and 8:00pm in the Jr/Sr High School Gymnasium Lobby.
