Today is Election Day! Student Council held Mock elections and we had over 300 participants. Students registered in a Google Document before they could vote last week. The SS classes talked about the election in class they came to the LGI to participate with a ballot just like the real election. They had to find their name A-L and M-Z, know their initials, and sign their names. It was a great experience for the kids to see the whole process. It was also good practice for our kids who are 18 and voting today. It was a successful/fun day! Also, everyone got "I voted" Stickers! We hope you all get out today and cast your vote!

This Saturday, November 9th PTO Roller Skating at the Jr/Sr High School Gymnasium! Elementary skate from 5-7pm and High School skate from 7-9pm! All elementary students must be accompanied by an adult.

Are you ready to ski or snowboard? Maybe you have never done it, but want to learn? Join us for to the 2024-2025 at Swain Ski Resort! We will hit the slopes for 6 weeks in January and February.
Does the entire family want to go? You can purchase tickets for the everyone, but only students in grades 3-12 are able to ride the bus each week. We look forward to a great season and hope to have you join us on the slopes. Additional information can be found on the club facebook page at "CS Ski and Snowboarding Club."

Miss Daningburg and Mrs. Clark's AIS classes are participating in a program called Growing Beyond Earth. They are doing Level One research for NASA using a plant growth chamber, the same unit that is used on the International Space Station. They are testing three varieties of vegetables to see how well they grow in the chamber. The goal is to find vegetables that can be grown on the ISS for astronauts and eventually on the moon!
